What is Code Maine?
Located in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, Code Maine is a challenging and fun program, designed to train students to be software developers in 9 months.
In a small online classroom setting, you will work with real-world technologies to learn the fundamentals of coding, app development and the life leadership skills you will need to be successful in your career and competitive in the job market. And you will be eligible to receive college credit from Eastern Maine Community College toward a Computer Science degree as well as earn a CompTIA A+ certification.
Code Maine Provides a Scholarship for Students Attending and Assistance with Financial Aid Applications
Thanks to the generous support of Maine’s business and philanthropic leaders, as well as Eastern Maine Community College and Maine Technology Institute, Code Maine is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) program.
What does it take to attend Code Maine?
Step 1: Nomination
Any Maine high school graduate living in the state may apply to Code Maine. Included in the application will be a recommendation by a teaching professional or recent employer. Recommend a student here. Apply to attend here.
Step 2: Demonstrate a Strong Heart and Mind
Becoming a fantastic software developer takes hard work and dedication.
Step 3: Show Up, and Work Hard
Each class of 15 to 20 students will work together every weekday for 9 months to master this skill set.
Step 4: Graduate, and Land a Great Job
Code Maine is successful when our students are successful in their careers.
Step 5: Be Fantastic
Every graduate carries the reputation of Code Maine with them into the workforce. We expect you to represent!
